THERE'S A NEW camcorder set to hit the UK market targeted specifically at the "YouTube generation."
The Disgo Video, a mini digitial camcorder produced by Clever Stuff, is a budget piece of kit which the company boasts is the "easiest video camcorder in the world." It's charged by two AA batteries and weighs no more than your average mobile phone. The Disgo Video sports a two-inch colour screen and a built-in speaker, and ships with a 1GB SD card which can hold up to about one hour of continuous video recording.
A TV cable is included in the package which lets users hook their camera straight up to the TV to bore their mates with home movies and such. Also provided is a USB cable so punters can upload their videos, saved in your bog standard AVI format, straight onto the 'puter. Video editing software ships with the product, too.
Quality isn't superb with it shooting in a 640 x 480 pixel VGA quality, but for the asking price of just forty quid it could be one to nab for anyone starting their filming endeavours or for your average video blogger.
